I have been comparing those fights. Pac better not fight the way he fought Cotto. He needs to fight ala Clottey per say. However no showboating.

Pac needs to stay on his toes and circle alot. He better have a mixed in water bottle so he can get that extra boost at the end.

People are seriously under the influence that Margarito's chin is tough as ever. Mosley and Cotto were landing nasty stuff on him, especially Mosley. I am not sure that he will be able to take the heat from Pacquiao. He will be getting peppered repeatedly with hard flush shots and if he gets in close Pacquiao's superior footwork will get him in the right position to unleash fire again.

Imagine Cotto with Pacquiao's stamina, he would have schooled Margarito easy on points (10-2 or 11-1), and that was Margarito prior to hard fights with Cotto and Mosley. I am not even gonna mention plaster issue, bleeding nose, wrong game plan, neglecting the body, not clinching...with respect to Cotto-Margarito. **** Miguel, you could've beaten this guy with your eyes closed if you weren't a stubborn sob!!!!

I can't see Margarito being competitive, I just don't see it!

This guy Dwyer gets plenty of fights wrong, don't be fooled! But then again, he looks at the fights from gambling perspective, perhaps that is why some of his picks are more risky.

I know. I picked Cotto to completely outbox Margarito for 12. He got stupid though and started going to the ropes too much.

Youve go to factor in another thing as well though. When was the last time manny fought a slow guy. Diaz recently. He was countering the crap out of him. You can see with the mitt work they were doing with pac that is their plan.

Cotto is a better boxer than Pac not saying he is the better fighter but in that he has a better jab, can go to the body and can fight better on the move. I think Cotto's style is harder for Margo than Pac's the difference being that Pac has better stamina and is more durable.

Pac is a much better boxer than Cotto. Better footwork, better lead power shot, more versatile, better defense, better timing, more accurate, better combinations, more intelligence...

In terms of technical, Pac is alot better than Cotto.

Pac fights much better on the move than Cotto too. I'm surprised you think Cotto is better on the move than Pac.

Dwyer's been pretty clueless when it comes to Pac.

Why would you be surprised Pimp C is biased and has agendas.

Margarito is a glorified bum. The only way Pac loses this fight is if he comes in fat and out of shape.

Picking Margo is fools gold, so don't listen to that degenerate gambler. He has no special insight about this fight.

Why on earth would he suggest to us to look at Pac vs. Hatton. Pac nearly put Hatton in the cemetary.

He's a Margarito apologists. Margarito cheated, period. He had cement in his gloves against Mosely. Once the cement was taken from him he got destroyed.

I'm talking about him fighting backing up not moving in and out. Cotto while not PBF can fight well while retreating Pac can't.
Pac doesn't have a better body attack than Cotto, he doesn't have a better jab than Cotto nor is he a better inside fighter. Pac gets by being the better athlete he's a very flawed fighter and can get away with it because of his speed. He comes in off balanced wide open all day long but can get away with it against lesser fighters. I wouldn't call him an intelligent fighter because his answer to everything is to just open up with speed. I've yet to see him take away his opponents jab or set traps to win a fight.

he did pick him over hatton and cotto, but when your straddling all your picks like he does its easy to have a lot of winners, he nromaly does bring good insight though.

The speed advantage that Pac will have over Margarito will be significant.

You underrate Pac terribly. Pac fights great backing up, as exemplified by his knockdowns against Morales and Cotto, and the repeated counter right hooks that Hatton was eating.

Pac is a better inside fighter than Cotto. He has a better guard on the inside and can throw punches alot faster. Cotto is a sucker for clean, flush uppercuts on the inside.

Cotto is alot more flawed than Pac. Pac skills are still very underrated.

If you've yet to see him take away an opponent's jab or set traps to win a fight then I guess you haven't see the fight against Cotto. Or maybe his skills are just to subtle for you to notice.

I saw him countering Cotto's jab with straight left hands and right hooks as early as the second round.
