You'll never hear me call Cotto a smart fighter his ring IQ is one of his biggest weaknesses. He elected to go to war with Pac when he could have just outboxed him behind his jab. He didn't clinch Margo in their fight to break up his rhythm was another dumb move.

Pac was countering the **** out of Cotto's jab in the 2nd round. In the third round Cotto threw a double jab and got countered over the top and that's what led to the first knockdown. Then Cotto got all agressive and had some success until Pac adapted and caught him coming in.

Seriously, I like Cotto. Obviously I like Pac more, and the reason for that is that Pac does everything better than Cotto, except throw a jab. Even then, Cotto's jab is fast and strong but he lunges in too much with it. I noticed that against Zab Judah. Pac will use his jab as a technical tool that he works off of, not to create damage but for feints, distance and timing.

Cotto got lured into a brawl with Pac he got hit hard by a smaller man and instead of boxing he started to try and bang that's why he lost. That's what you can't do to with Pac you don't fight his fight you turn it into a boxing match and you have a much better chance. Cotto was fine until he fought Pac's fight.

I like Dwyer. I don't understand this pick though. This is a very easy fight to predict. Pac winning this fight is almost a can't miss prediction. I'm positive Pac wins this by KO. Only way he loses this fight is poor preparation.

You need to watch the fight again. Pac was timing his jab like a ****ing clock. Cotto would go to throw it out and Pac's left was already in his face.

Pac would have beaten cotto regardless. Pac had him figured out by the second round. He was countering everything he threw.

I disagree with Dwyer on this one. One just needs to look at Margarito's fights with Clottey, Cotto, Williams, and Mosley. They all landed at will on him and almost shut him out the first 6 rounds. Margarito starts slow, and there's no way he can let Pac tee off on him, fall way behind, but then have enough to stop Pac late. Pac doesn't get tired and Margarito can't keep taking the same punishment that he was able earlier in his career. Margarito has to fight differently than his usual style to win this, and the chances of him doing that are small.

You're positive Pac will win but yet you make an excuse at the end if he looses, it's far from can't miss, styles make fights and Margarito presents a style like Pac has never seen at this magnitude pure pressure and a very high volume of punches a round, factor in his height, weight and reach advantage then you have a recipe for disaster.

Almost everyone who's picking Pac totally discredits Margarito, the lead up to his fight with Pac Tony's been totally underrated and i feel Pac is being given too much credit for what i view as only two decent wins in the higher weights (Hatton & Cotto) too fighters that had recently been knockedout.

I have Margarito winning by stoppage in the mid rounds, speed won't be enough in this one Margarito too big, too strong, too determined, great chin, strong willed and wicked punch output, Pac keys to victory, outboxing Tony for 12 rounds totally staying in the center of the ring and using angles, he has to stay away from the inside and off the ropes at all times i don't see that happening.

With how a shot Oscar took every punch from manny without being wobbled and Cotto went 12 rounds taking power shot after power shot and not having a great chin i just see Tony walking through Pac and taking what he wants Ala Cintron I & II until the great Pacquiao subcumbs to the pressure.

Official prediction.......Tony Margarito by stoppage round 7.

"hatton and pac is closer than we would like to admit" <-- this is where I stopped listening and also then thought about slapping my self in the face.

he could be right about this fight. but that statement? no.

One punch changes everything. The point was that Hatton had some success backing Pac up. Not that Hatton was in some way beating up on Pac.

    *******s man... :patsch

I told myself i'd never bet against pac again after DLH/Cotto

    I've learned my lesson.

Only dude that can handle pac's style is floyd. Not another plodding slow mexican.

Watch episode 3 of 24/7 Margo is sparring and throwing the slowest punches ever.
