Dwyer from Gamblers Advisory says Johnson will Ko Froch

Dwyers usually on the money with how he sees things post fight, be it what took place or scoring etc

His predictions are hit and miss but always a good watch, better than the rest i've seen on ytube over the years.

 

He picked Haye over Wlad, well on his second video about it, changed his mind about it.

Right or wrong his videos are always interesting and it's good to see him out there posting his opinion (which is what he clearly states it is "the opinion you should follow is your own, these videos are a second opinion from a complete stranger") rather than hiding behind a message board, he;s out there in person giving his view, respect for that.

 

The best bet would be for froch points win along with Johnson KO win.

I think it's far more likely froch gets stopped than Johnson. I saw highlights of Dawson-Johnson and realised froch hasn't really good quick elusive movement. He has got a stiff jab but I can see Johnson countering that shot. Many are rating frochs chances higher due to his excellent win against Abraham where he showed his boxing ability. Problem is Johnson is much better than Abraham in closing distance and then working. Abraham was just a punchbag without taking anything away from frochs win, he still has relatively slow hand speed and many a time can get off balance especially when loading up on shots.

I see this as a really close fight which froch should win on points and Johnson could win by ko

 

He is an idiot.

 

This Dwyer fella's a ****. He's not a value bettor, as someone suggested, he's a straight up contrarian. Waiting for the one opportunity when someone pulls off a Douglas-esque upset and he can say 'I told you so'.

I like Johnson, a lot. But he's never been THAT good. A fringe contender whose reputation got out of hand cause he always turned up to fight and had a few unlucky breaks.

Froch beats any version of Johnson comfortably and beats this version at a relative canter.

 

If Johnson stops Froch, I'll be crushed. Probably more than when Ricky Hatton and Dan Hardy got knocked out, and this isn't based on Patriotism. I genuinely respect Froch for all that he's done and will be gutted if he gets stopped after all this hard work, finally getting on sky and finally getting the publicity he deserves.

 

Dwyers analysis is interesting, but he always seems to come to the wrong conclusions. He was convinced Mosley was a live early KO threat against pac. Yet Mosley was obviously well past his prime, and pac hasn t been stopped in over a decade. Pac had shown he could take solid shots from a bigger man (Margarito) So I just couldnt get my head around why Dyer thought pac could get KO d early

 

I dont. His betting strategy is all over the place. He hedges too much. His bets are almost always on his hunches and picks, rather than on price. And I ve never heard him mention shopping for the best price

 

Hows that then? Froch is priced at 1.22 which means he d have to win this fight 82% of the time to break even over the long run. I dont think Carl is a more than 80% favourite in this fight, do you? Theres no value to be had betting on this fight in my opinion

 

Johnson has a chance, but do you actually take Dwyer's opinion seriously? He always goes for the underdog.
