Dwyer is a sharp guy with a few blind spots.

For example Dwyer definitely underestimates the effects of aging. He seems to be basing his prediction on the 2004 version of Glen Johnson who beat RJJ.

Except that the year is 2011 and Glen is now 42 years old.

I agree with Dwyer that Glen is generally underrated in this fight against Froch but I still think that Dwyer is overrating Glen's chances.

Degale was hindered by the 3 nation belt.

i dont mind Dwer to be honest, but his recent picks have been 'DIER' .. I think he knows his stuff to a certain point.. But Froch is a tough ****in dude uno, if Johnson stops him EASILY ill be very suprised..

 

To be fair, Froch took some peach punches that could have put many down.

 

Why do people place so much stock in his opinion. I watch his videos just because I like hearing others opinions but I see him as no different than someone here posting their predictions for a fight. Why do people makes threads saying "Dywer said xyz" and not make threads about posters here saying "*insert esb member* saying xyz"

He's just another boxing fan like any of us, he just makes videos whilst we all make threads/write posts.

 

Dwyer is well past prime. I like listening to his analysis of fights though.

 

To be fair, he probably told you to straddle it with a Johnson decision, Froch KO, Froch decision and the draw.

Froch decision was easy money.
