I think Hopkins would have a very good chance against Haye though.

Never been stopped, and a master of taking a fight on the inside and working on the inside. Haye is not an inside fighter.

Jones has no power at HW, and I dont how anyone unless supremely nationalistic could say this! Especially given his speed and reflexes is gone now.

The whole RJJ/Hop against Haye thing is giant joke. It shouldn't even be uttered, ever. I don't want to see no 45 year man no matter how slick and crafty against someone that would outweigh him by near 40 lbs on the night with serious speed and power. Haye wouldn't even have to land to push Hop half way across the ring in his shell. It's a mismatch, don't ever be fooled into thinking slickness overcomes that because it doesn't. Not at this stage.

 

Dwyer has been on a bit of a terrible run lately, and I must admit when it comes to certain fighters, he has a tendency to get it wrong. He has it with Dirrell, Dawson and Roy Jones. He picked Roy Jones to beat Calzaghe too, I believe.

 

Roy wouldn't come foward against Haye imo, it would be Haye taking the initiative because Roy is older, and smaller. Roy Jones cant keep his back off the ropes these days, he spends most of his time languishing on the ropes presenting a stationary target trying to grab a rest cause his age wont allow him punch or move consistently for 3 mins a round.


I dont think Haye is slower than Roy Jones, not now, but even if he is, that isn't the issue imo, as hand speed and reflexes are two different things, matter of fact, I'd rather have the reflexes of a 20 year old, than have the speed of a prime Roy Jones, cause at least you can still react to punches, time them.

 

Farce if true, guy is a fat joke, he is **** at predicting.

and Dwyer is a joke, he says the Mayweather/Hatton fight was never competitive and completely one-sided for Mayweather the entire fight but then Hatton/Pacquiao was a lot more competitive than we thought it out to be.

 

I thought this guy is suppose to be real good with his predictions? He picked Margarito to beat Pacquiao – wrong. He picked Maidana to beat Khan – wrong. And now he’d pick Roy to beat Haye? I’ve also heard him pick James Toney over Haye, too. I get the impression he doesn’t like Haye too much. He also thinks Khan and Mayweather will be competitive. That’s the Khan of today, by the way.
