I find he picks up on talent before a lot of the other youtube punist do. And he isn't afraid to say fighter A would be fighter B even if no one else is going to agree with him. He disregards age more then I think he should. Sometimes this serves him well, such as when he broke down Holyfeild Valuev but when fighters start getting older I find that the potential veriability in their performances becomes greater and greater and given that the guy's main purpose is assessing risk, I don't see that enough of his breakdowns appropriately take this into account.
I was at Pavlik/Rubio. At the end of the round he quit I turned to my son and said: "It's a good thing this ended in Rubio's corner because he wouldn't have made it back other wise.". Seriously. Rubio wobbled a few steps back to his corner and pretty much collapsed on the stool. Had it gone another round he would have been KTFO. Seriously. I don't know much about Lemieux but Rubio is one full class under Pavlik speed wise.
