Well, he should either retire or rematch Derevyanchenko, then.

This fight was closer than either of those. GGG beat Canelo very comfortably, IMO. Twice.

Derevyanchenko edged GGG and should have gotten the verdict, but GGG winning is fine, particularly within the parameters of those official scorecards. Had they been wider, it would have smacked of corruption, as those scores were already pushing the limits of awarding GGG every benefit of the doubt.

No he did not beat Canelo "comfortably" either time. Both were close, similar to Chenko/GGG, stop using your double standards.

Dwyer blew his beans on derevyanchenko hence the sour grapes.

That isn't a double standard. There weren't enough rounds for Canelo to give him the win either night. There were plenty of close rounds last night, and if you budge a few of my Derevyanchenko rounds Golovkin's way you can wind up with him narrowly winning. This really isn't a difficult concept to grasp. Your talk of "double standards" illustrates that you have no capacity to appreciate nuance, or the fact that every fight is different.

The second fight between canelo and GGG was definitely close enough for canelo to get the nod imo. I do not think you can call the second fight a robbery by any stretch of the imagination. The first fight is a different story.

My talk of double standards just means that you have no capacity to realize your own bias no matter how hard you try to disguise it with gobbledygook.

I've never hid my biases, nor been in denial of them, which allows me to consciously make an effort not to have them impact my ability to score or analyze impartially. Something others lack, because they do have that capacity for willful self-deceit and just pretend they don't have biases.

I am biased against Canelo. I do not like him.

I have nonetheless scored every Canelo fight I have seen fairly and objectively. The one thing has nothing to do with the other. Maybe you don't have the wherewithal to keep such things separate, but I do. You go into paroxysms when you hear anyone suggest that Canelo a) deserved to lose to Lara, or Trout, or b) didn't win a single round against Mayweather, or c) has been twice over bested close but clear in his rivalry with Golovkin. That is your issue, and the product of your bias.

If everything I said and thought about Canelo was hardwired to some prime directive programming that abhorred giving him any credit for anything, why then would I have fighters I really like (such as Jacobs) fighting to a draw with him? There was a pretty big "Cotto was robbed" bandwagon after he lost to Canelo...and yet I, having been among the board's hugest Cotto stans for years, scored it begrudgingly to Canelo. I openly rooted for Canelo when he fought two guys I dislike way more than him (JCC Jr. & Khan).

So, what am I not realizing, exactly? Other than how futile a cause explaining your own bias to you is, like speaking to a brick wall?

Because I saw the fight with at least 20 people at my buddy's son birthday party and not a single person was impressed with Golovkin.

The fans booed Golovkin and they also booed the decision.

Only the hardcores will get up for GGG.

Us hardcore fans were thrilled about it.

Casuals (bulk of the $$) were expecting the GGG KO, and GGG did not delivered. In fact he got outboxed by a much shorter man.

So you and “20” people at a birthday party allegedly disapproved of GGG that counts as a majority?

You need a knockout to beat Golovkin in NYC. First Jacobs and now Derevyanchenko on the receiving end of very unfavorable and wide scorecards in fights they both edged. GGG fans complain about corruption against Canelo but 115-113 x2 and 114-114 were extremely generous cards in a fight he clearly lost.
