    In all honesty I'm at work & I have no sound on my computer. He did say Wlad vs. Haye was a 50/50 fight though, that one I heard on my home PC.

    That has little relevance here. He's not claiming Hopkins could be as competitive as he thought Haye could be, he's saying Hopkins could be at least as competitive as Haye actually was.

    When it comes down to it, Hopkins has more boxing knowledge, by far than anyone on this board.

    And even though BigReg picked Dawson to beat the **** outta Hopkins, that doesn't mean Hopkins won't surprise us and be competitive with Wlad.

    However, I don't think Hopkins can win and it would potentially be a very boring fight or one where you are worried about Hopkin's safety.

    Well, Arreola has that big advantage as he has a huge and dedicated fan-base of Mexican and Mexican-American fans. HBO showed the Vitali-Arreola fight as they knew it would sell big in the hispanic community. I figure Wlad wants a piece of that action and a good way of getting another HBO fight broadcast. Hopkins, if he beat Tarver at 200lbs. convincingly might just get enough press and fan interest to secure a fight with Wlad and yes I would pay to see it.
