stopped? it owuld never get that far because neither of those two would accept the fight. it would be almost the same as gsp fighting cain or dos santos.
I don't know about Dwyer's prediction but one thing is for sure that never gets mentioned on this site. Barry McGugian destroys Lennox Lewis with relative ease. McGugian is to fast, to slick and shows to much heart to lose this one. Lewis would just be a plodding robot in this fight and would be punching air all night. How exactly does a straight up and down tall Euro fighter like Lewis beat McGugian? It just cannot happen. This content is protected This content is protected
Dwyer is just trying to drum up hysteria and controversy for his ridiculous videos. The more outrage he can create with some dumb statement the happier he is.
Hopkins wanted to fight a heavyweight before, I think when he'd just moved up from middle. I remember a quote of him saying he was looking at Maskaev and didn't think a Calzaghe fight was worth his time. He ended up fighting Calzaghe and stayed at light heavy. If he was going to fight at heavy he would've done it by now, especially with the Klits wanting for hi-profile opponents. Don't think it's even worth discussing a Wlad-Hopkins fight, highly unlikely to happen. Tarver on the other hand did move up to heavy and looked good at cruiser in his last fight with 190+ lbs on him. He still could add a lot to his legacy by beating Wlad so it would definately be worth the risk, and his southpaw style could pose Wlad some problems as Sanders was able to. His left looked sharp against iron-chinned Green who he hurt on a few occasions. You never know, if that punch that KTFO Roy was to land on Wlad..
Ibragimov and Byrd were both elusive south paws in their primes that were far better than Tarver but both were beaten with ease by Wlad. Not to mention that Chagaev was also a south paw.
Byrd was feather fisted though, and Ibargimov was that big of a puncher I don't think. I've never liked Tarver, always thought he was highly overrated, but he's always had power in that left. I'd put money on Wlad to dominate him, but you never know if Tarver lands some of those big lefts as Sanders was able to do at will
Having run out of threats within their own division the boxing public is now looking for great hopes against the Klitschko brothers in other weight classes. What next? How far will our fantasies travel? Klitschko vs Hulk Hogan? Klitschko vs Greenburg? How long before we start picking contenders out of the animal world? Klitschko vs a gorilla? Klitschko vs a Himalayan bear?
one of the best analysis i've ever seen against my favorite fighter. great job. i can't argue with it, i can just hope you are wrong if the fight ever happened. be cool
