Dwyer is a ***, but yes, Kessler clearly did want out vs Ward, his corner were asking if he wanted to continue and he was silent. He really did not want to be in there, he was getting roughed up badly. Froch is someone Kessler will be able to hit back though, unlike the frustration of being beaten up by Ward without any hope of a reprisal, so I can't see a reason for him to want to quit in the Froch fight, though I definitely think a Cobra stoppage could be on the cards.
He tapped out of the Ward fight and he tapped out of the Super 6. To make things worse, he continues to make excuses about the Ward fight. For whatever reason, he's gotten a pass. Just look at how Dirrell was treated after he dropped out of the Super 6.
