Dwyer and his "can't lose" betting ideas... Why is he still living in that dump of a place if he wins so many?

Broner looked average to bad against, lost to or should have lost to....

    Maidana (hurt Maidana late)
    Porter (dropped Porter)
    Malignaggi (Paulie outworked him)
    Taylor (dropped Taylor hard)
    Quintero
    Ponce De Leon

What do they have in common?

Garcia fights absolutely nothing like any of them.

No one should be acting like the result is a foregone conclusions.

Broner is a tough matchup for Mikey, people shouldn't forget that at least.

Just saying that he didn't look much bigger as the claims are being made. However, since boxers today put on twenty pounds over-night, I wouldn't be surprised to see him come in at 168.

Does weight make a difference in punching power? Well, the boxing divisions are based on weight so one would assume that a punch from a 168 pound Broner isn't the same as a punch from an 148 pound Broner and therefore would provide a certain advantage in addition to his faster hand velocity.. It would place him in a similar situation that Golovkin was in against his last opponent and possibly force him into the same super cautious mode which might be all Broner needs to pull off the upset.

Should have left the beard intact to hide the actual location of his chin.

Garcia said he was going to come in about 146-148. Broner was 157 when he fought Molina (141 for the official weigh in) so he could have a 10lb weight advantage. Garcia said he expects him to be about 10lbs heavier.

Mikey is a seriously skilled technician. Technicians beat flat footed one dimensional semi skilled tards like Broner.

Fuk off Dwyer you fat basturd.

There is a point where putting on more weight has diminishing returns for punching power. Broner may be at his best at 140. Or rather he could be better at 147 than he is at 140 but that small increase in power and punch resistance won't make up the vast difference of his opponents punch power and resistance between the two weight divisions. Broner is probably at his best relative to his opponent at 140. At the weigh in I thought Mikey and Broner looked similar in size with Broner edging him out slightly. But I'm not foolish enough to think that Broner isn't cutting much more weight than Mikey. There seem to be a lot of people who are at one end of the spectrum or the other. Either Broner is huge or Garcia is going to knock him out. I think Broner has enough punch resistance to go the distance with Mikey but I don't think Broners stationary feet will be able to deal with the angles that Mikey will be throwing from.

I think you misunderstood. Its my fault for saying it in that way and I should clarify. I just meant that I observed that Mikey Garcia is acting like its going to be an easy fight and that he has it in the bag. That mentallity doesn't help ever, but it happens to people who are used to winning. They become overconfident.

So I think Broner is going to be training harder, but I honestly don't know who wants to win more.

So you dont know. Atleast you admit it. I agree that Broner appears to have really trained harder than he has in a long time. He seems motivated and we`ll see if it pays off tonight.

I don't think that Garcia thinks it will be easy at all. Broner has seemingly made the mistake of revealing psychological weaknesses and Garcia, is just instinctively honing in on that target in order to make his task easier by instilling doubt. An unsure fighter will be cautious and being over-cautious could provide an edge for a confident opponent.
