Might as well just say any man beats every man in the history of boxing if all he is going to do is hypothetically talk and its not worth ever fighting anyone. Talk is cheap with no action, and with the resume of Wilders, being surpassed by many contenders, his talk is the cheapest. Another day, another excuse why not to fight another contender, another number #1 contender, again. Bring on 'Boom Broom' Rivas .
He's not no 1 contender you idiot. He has to fight Ortiz in an eliminator for that to happen. Trolling, making a fool of yourself and posting misinformation doesn't do any favors for your credibility.
As you say This happened after the next round had begun, Bell rang, 2 seconds in the Ref steps in and stops the fight He illegally brings the Dr to the ringside and Wilder gets an extra 21 seconds to recover Watch the video and listen to the commentary repeatedly saying “you can’t do that” This content is protected
I think we both know there was never any danger of the Dr telling the Ref that Wilder was unfit to box on. This was a premeditated act to give Wilder more recovery time should the need arise, which it did.
Get someone to check the WBC heavyweight rankings for you Ray, number #1 contender = Dylan Whyte. Your 100% correct, trolling, making a fool of yourself and posting misinformation doesn't do any favors for your credibility.
You do realize Wilder was literally swaying back and forth, I think there was genuine concern, most fighters would get similar treatment after enduring a savage nearly 2 minute onslaught as well.
Nope Wilder still has the better resume. The Ortiz win is better than anything on Whyte's record. Helenius was shot and had already lost to Duhaupas so Duhaupas on Wilder's record trumps Helenius on Whyte's. Chisora again has proven he is around world class with the Takam win, but Takam was 37 and Whyte barely beat Chisora and might of even lost. Stiverne on Wilder's record is probably on par with the Chisora win for Whyte as Stiverne was ill for the first fight and was so shot in the 3nd fight Chisora would knock him out now. So while Wilder's record is bad and lacks depth, Whyte's isn't any better.
I stand corrected, no problem. You were right, he is a contender Let Wilder fight him then and we will see if you give any credit when Whyte is stretched out and thrown in the back of an ambulance with the sirens on.
I can not understand how sb. can claim Whytes resume is better than Wilders. Absolutely BS. Wilder's Top 10: Ortiz, Stiverne 1, Scott, Duhaupas, Washington, Arreola, Szpilka, Molina, Liakhovich, Price Whyte's Top 10: Joshua, Parker, Chisora, Helenius, Browne, Allen, Lewison, Tann, Bacurin, Minto So guys, do you really think Wilders Top 10 is worse than Whytes? No ****ing way. Wilder has much more depth in his resume.
I gave Wilder massive credit for somewhat stepping up after beating semi-credible Stiverne the first time and was a genuine fan. By the time the Stiverne 2 belly flop/dive had come around, he had lost most of his credibility in my eyes due to the dives, ducks and journeymen. Gave him huge credit again for beating Ortiz. Despite being old, Ortiz is technically excellent and the much better fighter, Wilder did well to KO him considering he was losing the fight by a wide margin. In other words, whenever Wilder achieves, I always give him the credit he deserves, it's just way too far and few between in a long career to ever be called a champion, and crying constantly because others are doing better because they consistently fight the tougher opposition he avoids just makes him look like a sore loser.
No they don’t, not in the way Wilder did. Fighters return to their stool and have the requisite amount of time with their cornermen and if the Dr feels he needs a look then it happens BETWEEN rounds. Listen to the US Commentary, you can clearly hear them saying “you can’t do that” referring to the stoppage for the Dr to have a chat and waste time with Wilder. That kind of check is only allowed when a fighter is badly cut, if he’s in trouble from punches and doesn’t have the sense to take a knee then he must box on, it is not for the Referee to protect him unless he’s actually stopping the fight!
