Anyone have the information on this guy? 16-0 with 16 knockouts. Just starched Juan Carlos Gomez in 19 seconds.

Gomez was always a guy I greatly respected. He had a very lengthy run as cruiserweight champ and a good run at heavy.

    Very interested in Kudryashov.

He have very good punching power,at this time in his career.Altough e is not fighting best opposition. He cuts ring off pretty good.He partialy cover up his head when he is on his defense. He has stamina for sven full rounds. After seventh he fade away. His hand speed is decent. He doesn't move his head.He punches body and head equaly good.Preffers body, but if head is open he hits head. When he is not training he puts much weight. This is reported by Grigory Drozd himself. He can be easily outboxed but he have good chin.

I'm still skeptical. I'm not saying Kudryashov is not going to be the next great champ but I was not as impressed with his obliteration of Gomez as most. Here's why: Kudryashov ended the fight with only throwing 6 punches, seems impressive for sure, but Gomez was not the young Gomez, no quick footwork, no quick hands, no accuracy in his punches. I can't say for sure if Gomez simply took a dive on this one but the fight has some of the characteristics of a dive IMO: short and no serious punches thrown by the loser. Kudryashov still needs a defining fight for me to consider him with more seriousness.

It wasn't dive, Gomez started the fight slowly and got caught. Look at the punch Kudryashov throwed it was a boom.

The straight right that finished the job looked rather serious.

I do think it's hard to really gauge a guy's level when he knocks out the biggest step up so quickly (sometimes, fighters get caught cold), but there were easier ways for Gomez to take a dive if he'd signed on for one.

Regardless, Dmitry's earned a step up to a top 15, top 10 caliber CW next. We'll find out soon enough if that translates to the top class.

Big, strong and built like a tank. He's built like a bigger Beterbiev, but not as physically strong P4P. He varies his punches a lot, but the power punches usually comes in short explosive bursts.

He's got some subtle defensive skills, switching from turtle shell to traditional defensive stance. Very confident in the ring and fights like a veteran. His speed is decent, but moves well on his feet. He's definitely a good fighter to keep an eye on.

Knocking out JCG so quickly is pretty impressive.
