We are just over 30 minutes away from the next Japanese televised card, a Dynamic Glove card / Asign Bee show.

The main event will crown a new Japanese Bantamweight champion, ending the title curse that has seen 3 title bouts being cancelled this year! It will see Yuta Saito (10-9-3, 7), who fought in the last Japanese title fight at the weight LAST YEAR, take on Eita Kikuchi (21-5-4, 8), who lost in a title eliminator for the title... last year. This looks like the JBC picked two safe hands to fill the void after the longest vacancy the title has seen in it's 66 year history...a draw will drive someone to tears

    On the under-card
The popular American born Japanese based fighter Charles Bellamy (27-3-2, 18) is facing off with Yuto Shimizu (12-3-2, 5)

The very talented Reiya Abe (17-2, 8) will face former Japanese title challenger Masashi Noguchi (12-10-1, 6).

Recent world title contender Akihiro Kondo (30-7-1, 17) will battle domestic journeyman Tatsuya Miyazaki (9-11-1, 9) (who looked like awful at the weigh in)

Ryohei Takahashi (15-3-1, 6) will take on Shingo Kusano (11-6-1, 4), who is one of the two men to hold a win over the aforementioned Reiya Abe.

The hard hitting Hayate Kaji (10-0, 8) will face a Thai foe

    All live on G+

1-Kaji not messing around and he's in seek and destroy mode straight away, Thai on the retreat, bid body shot by Kahi, the Thai on the run, this is intense yet educated pressure from Kaji, and he's trying to make a statement. The Thai starting to fight back more when he's backing up, lovely uppercut by Kaji, two handed attacked from Kaji, who is blocking and avoiding plenty of return fire. A hard right from Kaji, the visitor is coming undone but recovers eventually.

Can sort of see how Sahaphap lasted beyond a round with Takahiro Yamamoto on Debut, but took a total shellacking

2-Kaji not wanting a long night at the office and he's keeping the pressure on, good right hand, Sahaphap backing up more and letting his own shots go but they seem more like an inconvenience than a threat for Kaji, wide body shots from the Thai, and a the visitor is rocked! A follow up sends him down in the neutral corner, up, Kaji on the pursuit, wobbles him again and the referee takes a close look, lets it continue, body shots from Kaji now head, he switches so well and the referee has seen enough

Ryohei Takahashi (15-3-1, 6) v Shingo Kusano (11-6-1, 4), Takahashi comes in to this following a win in Thailand against Mike Tawatchai and has notable wins with the 2014 All Japan Bantamweight Rookie of the Year crown as well as victories over Matcha Nakagawa and Kazuki Tanaka. He also lost a 10 round decision to Andrew Moloney. Kusano lost in the 2013 All Japan Rookie of the Year final, to Shingo Kawamura who recently challenged OPBF Featherweight champion Satoshi Shimizu, he has a notable win over Reiya Abe, but has lost his last two including a rematch to Abe

1-Takahashi out behind his jab, he looks the more fluid fighter, Kusano more cautios, good body shot by Takahashi, a good straight up top by Kusano, no feeling each other out here! A really good straight from Kusano up top, a straight from Takahashi, and an even better one! A good right to the body from Takahashi, and one up top, Kusano reaching when he throws now. A body shot from Takahashi seemed top put Kusano on to the retreat for a moment. 10-9 Takahashi

2-Takahashi still the one landing the better shots, Kusano seems to have learned that he can't stand in or around long range or he's getting tagged so he's backing up more to avoid that, both hitting air, Kusano pushes Takahashi down, Kusano's negativity has taken the sting out of everything, smart change in gameplan but a very frustrating one, good hook from Kusano, a right in return, Kusano with a straight. A better round for Kusano but a very negative one

3-Takahashi still struggling with the distance as Kusano continues to time his half steps backwards, a good straight gets through from Takahashi, Takahashi warned for using his head on the inside, a good hookd from Takahashi but Kusano returns the favour! Think Takahashi was stunned for a moment and I think Kusano knows it as he suddenlt shows more confidence and comes forward, Takahashi holds, a good hook from Takahashi stops another Kusano foray, a good straight from Takahashi, a good left from Kusano. His best round.

19-18 Takahashi (can see round 2 being a swing round though)

4-HUGE right from Takahashi, Kusano takes it well, a rare combination from Takahashi, Kusano boring in and smothering, he's tagged and hurt, fires back and Takahashi ignores it before firing on Kusano, Kusano not getting out of range like he was earlier and instead trying to shut down the distance, Takahashi knows his man is hurt and is pursuing him, Kusano from one side of the ring to another, and another, he's tired Takahashi eats a straight left but continues the pressure, Kusano A point taken from Takahashi for a head clash

    9-9 round

5-Kusano looks revitalised and it's Takahashi backing up early, Kusano getting away with leading with his head, Kusano letting shots go as he comes forward, Takahashi struggling with Kusano's change in tactics, this is getting really messy at times, Takahashi cornered but he's the one landing the only shot of note, Kusano lands a few straight left hands as Takahashi backs up.

    10-9 Kusano

6-More messy, wrestling and inside holding, Takahashi on the offensive and lands clean, then holding before Kusano returns fire, two clean head shots from Takahashi who appears to be feeling something, both looking to let their hands go in spurts but a lot more spurts from Takahashi who appears to be summoning the same energy he had to be Tawatchai, Kusano eating big shots! This has been another good round for Takahashi but he took a few bombs late on

So far this has been a fight that really has had moments but has been frustrating, and not a great clash of styles

7-Takahashi pressing the action again and he's fighting through the clinch now, lots of clean shots from Takahashi and Kusano being forced to respond, this is what Takahashi has needed to do more of, a good left hand from Kusano but Takahashi keeps up the pressure, jab jab straight from Takahashi! A left from Kusano, they stand and trade! Kusano gets the better of it but does so at expense of his balance! Takahashi on the pursuit of his man. Clumsy stuff again, HUGE right from Takahashiu! Kusano looks to be trying to get everything on some of his shots.

Got Takahashi up, but he's taken a few whacks and not made this easy at all

8-Kusano on the front foot and he tags Takahashi on the ropes! Takahashi starting to respond when they get to center ring, "Ryohei" chant, messy stuff as Kusano tries to take control, flurry of body shots from Kusano, Kusano swings off balance and Takahashi counters, about 80 seconds left and both upping the ante! The action is messy as both miss and fall in, but between the messiness is some exciting back and forth, Takahashi getting the better of it!

Takahashi gets the decision, rightfully so, 77-76, 77-74, 77-75

All seem in the ball park tbh

Akihiro Kondo (30-7-1, 17) v Tatsuya Miyazaki (9-11-1, 9) - Feel like this will be a massive mismatch, especially with Miyazaki looking REALLY ****ing bad on the scales. Miyazaki is heavy handed, despite being limited, but we saw Kondo take Lipnets' bombs and not step backwards....
