1-I remember watching Shigeta in a bout in Korea and being impressed and I'm being reminded why, he's gorgeous to watch, like a slightly less talented Fumiya Fuse (who amazed on that Korean card), he's fighting on the outside, looking quick and drops his man, hurts him again with a couple of right hooks, very nice boxer to watch, he rocks his man with a left, lovely movement

A low guard could be a problem for him in the future but he's in total control here. 10-8

2-Japanese fan has just raised a question as to whether or not Shigeta is a right handed southpaw and ...yeah...yeah that explains it actually... very lead hand orientated (busy jab, lovely hooks), this is a more competitive round than the opener but another where Shigeta's jab and movement have been the key, nice uppercut from Shigeta, Shigeta trying to lay traps, hooks with both hands, body shots from Shigeta. a HUGE body shot from Shigeta!

3-Shigeta using his feet a lot - think that cost him in Korea actually, think he tired down the stretch, good right hooks from Shigeta and a left gets through, and a left uppercut, lovely work on the inside from Shigeta but Takahashi takes it well and looks to come forward, Takahashi is serving as the perfect foil to allow Shigeta to show what he can do, lovely combination of right handed shots from Shigeta

4-Takahashi coming forward and he is forced to eat some up close, Shigeta looks to be slowing his movement just a touch, Takahashi with a combination, a good right hook from Shigeta, a nice pair of lefts but nothing really on them from Shigeta, and another, uppercuts upclose form Takahashi. Shigeta looks tired, still in control but tired

5-Takahashi pressing forward, a lovely jab from Shigeta, and another, Takahashi making mistakes when coming in and eating single shots, nice single blows from Shigeta, he seems to have relaxed and is just doing what comes naturally, Takahashi pressing but ineffective, a clean left from Shigeta, Takahashi has no quit in him and eats a lovely uppercut, a clean right hook from Shigeta, Takahashi slowing down and is walking into blows through the round.

6-Takahashi pressing again, he needs a KO and he knows it, Shigeta moving and countering, a lot of wasted movement again from Shigeta who knows it's in the bag, nice little sequence from both up close, Shigeta cruising and Takahashi seemed to be hurt for a moment...59-54 or 60-53 for me. Clean win for Shigeta, maybe a round against him (4)

    Next is Tsuyoshi Sato (8-1-1, 4) v Tetsuya Tomioka (5-3, 5)

Shigeta gets the win, 60-53, 60-54 and 59-54 no arguments with any of them. Very easy bout to score.

1-Sato doing what Sato does and starting fast, straight into Tomioka's face Tomioka trying to fight back but has to hold and let the referee split them, Sato again on the front foot, and Tomioka forced to tie up again, and again, don't think he expected the Sato stream train to start this fast, Tomioka warned for holding after just 97 seconds! He's going to have to fight fire with fire soon, and that's what he begins to do! We have a war! Sato barrelling in and unloading, Tomioka has no answer for this pressure (a little surprised by that), Tomioka looks to create distance and must be wondering who thought this bout was a good idea for him

2-More pressure from Sato (it's his only way of fighting), Tomioka trying to fight at range and having some moments but Tomioka's pressure won't stop, huge right from Sato, Tomioka's hurt and he holds, more pressure from Sato, Tomioka looking to left his shots go but is again handcuffed by the shots of Sato, huge sweeping right from Tomioka, and another, and another, Tomioka is wobbling and Sato going for this! Eventually he drops Tomioka who beats the count, Sato continues looking for a close and Tomioka fires back! AMAZING back and forth sequence, Tomioka rocked, pinned on the ropes and the referee saves him

Gonna be totally honest, expected much more from Tomioka, but Sato...that kid is SOOOOO fan friendly!

1-Marcial holding back but looks so clumsy, Aoqui looking the more technically capable but smaller man, Marcial coming forward but has no idea how to put shots together and is looking very rough around the edges, a nice right from Marcial but he does take one himself, Aoqui wary of Marcial's strength and power, messy round overall, huge right from Marcial swivels Aoqui's head.

2-Aoqui settling down to business jabbing and moving well, he's winning but Marcial isn't looking in any duress at all

3-Marcial coming forward, nothing real quality in his work but he does seem like he's strong and powerful and his jab is starting to land more frequently. Marcial is so horribly clumsy. Hard to score this mess.

4-Marcial pinned in his own corner and he holds, Aoqui trying to get shots off but can't, Marcial pinned in the neutral corner and this time he is taking punishment!
