Kirkland has a real shot at this one, but it wil be extremely tough.

 

i think its awesome that kirland is fight him...and im pullin for him

BUT...it could be a difficult fight where he looks like kelly pavlik against hopkins
serg is a boxer and can embarass kirkland...but kirkland pressure could overwhelm him...he has power in his punches unlike say a juan diaz

My thoughts exactly...If he can some how work on his basics( footwork, headmovement, defense) I would give him a better chance at beating Dziniziuk, but I just dont see...I love watching Kirkland fight because of his style but I hope this fight doesnt come off...IMO he's not ready yet...He should have fought Angulo instead.

 

Angulo - Kirkland is just a natural fight. You know HBO wants to keep letting it simmer until they can turn it into a huge event or title fight. I bet we don't see it for at least another year.

I notice Kirkland's in no hurry for Martinez. :yep

Given Martinez' style, he would also lose to Dzinziruk...you can't beat a counter puncher at his own game if that's your style and you don't match him in that department...

 

It would definitely be an ugly fight.

 

And I think Dzinziruk schools him...too much hype...
