Dzindurik Vs Kirland In The Works For June 27th

He would definetly have to be in top form because its one thing being a good boxer and countering but its all about how you take the shots and if he can deal with the constant barrage of hard punches that will be getting landed to his head and body throughout the fight then he will be in with a shot but this could very well be another Caballero vs Steve Molitor job.

This is a really good fight. I think Dzindurik is a slight favorite here but Kirkland is a very live underdog. A lot depends on Dzindurik's chin because he's going to get hit in there. I'll be pulling for Kirkland, if he grabs a title at 154 from a solid belt holder then he will be on his way to being a star. Then he has big time match ups with Williams, Angulo, Pavlik, and a few others. But I think Dzindurik will be just a bit too much right now and he'll win a close decision.

 

I haven't saw Dzindurik fight yet, but considering he's an undefeated succesful titleholder this may be a bit too soon for Kirkland.

 

Quite a lot of people who have seen both Dzindziruk and Kirkland think so,wizard!

 

Interesting fight, and I really see this one as a toss-up, in that it could end up being a blowout either way, but I doubt it will end up being a close fight at the end of the day. I think Kirkland is going to get hit a LOT, but if he can keep on the pressure and not get hurt, he could beat the will out of Dzinziruk. I could see this looking like Williams-Quintana I, or like Urango-Ngodjo, or even a bit like Mayweather-Hatton. We'll see.

If I lived in the USA I would pick Kirkland,too,...........but Dzindziruk is too cagey and experienced for Kirkland.

Have you seen Santos vs Dzindziruk? Excellent fight which tells you a lot about the classy Ukranian.

 

Santos and Kirkland aren't that similar though, other than they both throw left handed.

 

What about Dzindziruk's fights with Julio(the guy Kirkland just dismantled) or Konecny? What do those fights tell us about the classy Ukranian?

 

He shut Julio out (and with ease) so I'd say they both dominated Joel Julio in their own ways.

Honestly if Kirkland beats Dz, It would be an amazing win for him. Dzinziruk is everything Kirkland does NOT want to see in a fighter...so to beat your polar opposite would be huge.
