[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Dzinziruk camp denies report!

Universum Box-Promotion Statement: It is alleged in an Internet report that Universum Box-Promotion would reject a battle between WBO super welterweight world champion Sergiy Dzinziruk against the interim champion Paul Williams. This allegation is absolutely false, absurd and has no basis. Representatives of both sides, Universum Box-Promotion and Goossen Tutor Promotions, have had contact with each other and there will be negotiations, but as usual behind the scenes. Until today we have not spoken "about even one cent," but we will put out offers and evaluate. WBO champion Sergiy Dzinziruk sticks to his statements made on www.fightnews.com: "I want the fight against Paul Williams as quickly as possible and I totally do not care where. I will quite simply knock out Williams!"

I'm not surprised at all. The article from Team Williams in the tank writer seemed more than a little suspicious. First off, the source of the "so-called" scoop was George Petersen, PW's trainer and manager, and none of it had even been confirmed by Goosen. There was absolutely no proof of any offers made from either side or that negotiations had even begun. The idea that all of that would take place and end so quickly not even a week removed from PW's last fight is just really beyond belief. PW's a decent fighter, but I'm truly getting sick of the spin coming out his camp. I mean what's the point? Did Petersen feel the need to re-inflate Paul's ego after getting called out so blatantly by Sergiy? Or do they just feel the need to throw their nuthuggers a piece of meat every couple of weeks because they sure did pounce on this one, hook, line and sinker.

I hope it's true! I think it will be a good fight although I doubt that Sergi wins. I see a pretty one-sided fight and Paul winning by KO. BUt you gotta love Sergi's heart....the man has got a big set of nuts to be as confident and bold as he is. I thought Sergi and his came just wanted to get his name in the mix by saying they wanted the fight and then backed out....so I hope I was wrong and the fight comes off.

You've obviously not seen sergei fight if you're saying that williams shuts him out on a way to a stoppage. I think you thinking w/ your heart instead of your head.

Sergyi Dzinziruk would quite easily dispose of the hype that is PW.

Negative news always travels faster than positive news. I'm american and would slightly favor PW in this fight, but i firmly beleive that sergei desperately wants this fight. He is also much better than verno phillips ever was. He dominated a very good santos who proved so by KO'ing
alcine to grab a world strap. The sergei/williams fight could make 154lbs
one fght away from a ring champ. The winner fights forrest, and that winner is the ring champion.

There is one think about Goosen, he dont lie...People were saying that he was not being honest about the offer that was given to Arum and Margo then he produced the rejection letter that was sent to him from Arum...Now Dzinziruks camp is saying that an offer wasnt rejected...If there is one thing that I have learned about UBP is that its full of liers and misleaders...This **** goes back to the days of Jones vs Michalczewski..

Some of the people here I swear...Both articles were broke by the same site, yet the one were its said that Dzinziruk rejected the fight is being said to be fake and the one that says he denies its TRUE??? How does that work, its only fasle if we disagree with it...

I will say this, if UBP put the rejection on paper they will be eating those words, as Goosen will call them on it and show the proof...

I for one knowing some histroy of both Kohls and Goosen if i had to trust one of them it would be Kohls:good
