Hopefully TV audiences are more like us (and Steve Farhood) and able to appreciate a dominant performance where the superior boxer just picks his man apart, rather than people like Tarver who think that you're somehow obligated to push for a knockout just because you're in control.

Dzinziruk doesn't run, clinch, or foul excessively. He's a clean, sharp, fast fighter and very TV-friendly despite being a total boxer without a shred of brawler in him. It's cool that he's finally getting a chance to cross over into the lucrative American market late in his career (like Martinez). Hopefully he can get big names (like Martinez).

Hopefully he and Martinez can unify, in one of the most technically awesome matches that could possibly be made right now! :happy

I'm loving the new ShoBox HD tonight. Hate that Nick is not here, hopefully, he will make it through this tough time.

Some nice fights tonight Dzinziruk looked good, and Paris needs to train much much better next time. He is very very lucky he didn't lose his "0".

Also, hopefully, all of the ShoBox: The New Generation's in the future will be in HD.

thanks for the rbr. dawson is a tough guy but has always fought easy beats, good on him for having a go.

he is a multi wolrd champ in muay thai if people didnt know, a far better kickboxer than boxer imo.

above vid, watch for the great elbow at 50 seconds.

You people are ranting and raving about this guy beating a unranked kick boxer who happens to box?

    PLEASE!

I always was fan of his and said he had the skills to be p4p. Sadly, Universum hid him away. Even in Germany his fights were only as summaries on TV. Glad to finally see him getting some attention in the US. He´s already 34/35 but his style isn´t exactly taking much out of him, so I hope he has 2-3 good years left.

Beat me to it Cash. Sergei also doesn't just do the same thing over and over either like the dane, but he doesn't have the same power kessler
does p4p. I still like dzin over angulo, cintron, margorito, spinks, and
any other on that level at '54. Foreman is the only question mark for
    dzin at this point.

No, IB is right. 10.5 rounds means 10 1/2 rounds completed, which means stopped before the middle of the 11th.

Also, Dzin is a southpaw, which is a big advantage over Kessler as well.

Dzinziruk also has a sharp compact hook whereas Kessler looks like a discus thrower.

That's bs. Williams vs Dzin look like it was going to happen but 2 things that didn't became a reality is

    1. Hbo wasn't interested cause Dzin is an unknown.

    2. Dzin had to deal with the situation over his former promoters.

That's the reason why he had an 18 month layoff. So next time come up with better facts ok stupid?

I was very impress with Dzin last night. I would love to see him vs Martinez in which i think that's an even fight cause of their styles.

There is some strong talent coming out of the Ukraine. Unfortuantely they do not usually get the opportunities of a powerful. U.S. promoter or the consistent tough sparring in Western gyms. Dzinziruk has echoed these sentiments!

    hell yes

i agree the infastructure needed to support pro boxing isn't there but i wouldn't apply that to sparring, plenty of talent there.
