Dzinziruk: "Martinez is slow"

Pavlik has a career long bad habit that no one other than Martinez ever made him pay for. When he is under attack and getting the worst of it, instead of stepping out at an angle, he jumps straight back and resets. Martinez made him pay for that with foot speed. DZ better go watch some more tape.

 

This could be possibly the most underrated fight of the year. More peopole should be hyped up about this one.

I've seen a select few of Sergie's fights and I must say I was quite impressed with his skills but I think Martinez will be a little to much for him...Sergie has a razor jab (lol..no pun intended) in which I can see causing Martinez problems but I havent seen Sergie face adversity and thats why I'm leaning towards Martinez.

 

Lighten up. Most of what I said is what PW already has(inside fighting and high workrate). It is wishful thinking to suggest that PW gets a good jab and good D but he would be a tough opponent if he did have those aswell.

 

I know its all in good fun. Just pointing out its alot easier said than done.

Lol, he needs to know what "reach" means and utilize it. That much can happen but I don't know if he'll do it or not.

 

Doubt it. Very few if any fighters have the ability to change their style. MAB was the last one i can think of.

PW is in the Margarito leagues. Their not gonna change their style. Adopting a jab and using it would basicallly change everything about him. I think he would just get confused and outboxed leading him to jump into his old self after being severely behind.

Actually now that i think of it thats what he tried in the Cintron fight.

Dzinziruk is a surgeon...this will be the toughest fight of Martinez's career...sounds strange because he's fought Pavlik and Williams, but it's true...Sergio will be the aggressor and Dzinziruk will play the role of the counter. Dzinziruk is by far the best boxer sergio has ever faced.
