3-Koura on his toes to begin the round but Dante pressing immediately, good jab from Dante, and a hard rigth from Dante, Koura struggling with the aggression and wildness of Dante, another right from Dante and another, and one more, and uppercut, a good right from Koura, and another, Dante with a crisp jab, an uuppercut from Koura, a right from Koura, and an uppercut from Koura up top, then one downstairs, and another downstairs, and another, an uppercut from Dante and a right from Dante, a hard right from Koura but Dante returns fire, a hard slingy right from Dante and body shots in return from Koura. Great round! 29-29 (yeah I'm giving that 10-10)

 

4-Koura on his toes trying to use his jab and stay away, making Dante waste energy chasing him - much better game plan from Koura, but Dante gets inside, OH big body shot from Koura! Dante is such a tough nut he doesn't even flinch, a right from Koura up top, Dante working well on the inside, inside body work from both, Dante really struggling again this round, a stiff right from Koura up top, and another, he is finding his groove, Dante with an overhand right of his own. 39-38 Koura.

 

5-Pressure from Dante is picking up, he's having success and Koura stands and trades with him, a headclash sees Koura suffer a small cut on his eye lid he says his fine and ref doesn't seem concerned, trading on the inside, another headclash, Dante making this very ugly, good uppercut from Dante, I think he caught Koura off balance after that as his legs seemed to go in different directions, absolute war now with Dante dictating the tempo, HUUUGE uppercut from Koura how did Dante eat that? Dante works on the inside and Koura tries to respond, Koura's now got blood from his right eye - headclash again I think. 48-48

 

6-Dante marching forward again trying to force and awkward messy brawl, Koura looking a little like EVIL with his blood running down his cheeks (NJPW reference!) Dante struggling to get the same success here but still certainly having moments as Koura looks to keep some range, 2 solid rights from Koura, Dante told to watch his head, a big right from Koura, a good body shot from Koura, that looked like a big clash of heads but maybe it wasn't as neither reacted, a good right from Dante and a right in return from Koura. Close round. Just edging to Koura. 58-57

 

7-Dante told off for a headclash - thin he was cut there, a good right from Koura, and another as Dante rushes in, a good flurry from Koura, Dante gets in, trading on the inside before Koura gets out, Koura just trying to walk Dante down, realises thats a bad tactic, a good right from Koura, Dante with with a good right, a good right from Koura, nice footwork from Koura late in the round and a good right hand and another

Yup Dante cut left eye

68-66 BUT there's been 3 or 4 VERY close rounds.

 

8-A hard right from Koura early, Koura using his feet and lands a good body shot, a nice left hook from Koura, a right from Dante, a huge right from Koura, when Dante is inside Koura has no clear answer other than to hold or trade, Koura using his feet well now and and countering the lunges from Dante, A huge straight followed by a headbutt from Dante, a good right from Koura, a 1-2 from Dante, a huge straight from Dante, a flurry that snaps Koura's head back, and another! Dante is teeing off with flurry's late in the round, both land a hard right

If Dante had power this could be a REAL issue for Koura's chin. 77-76

 

9-Koura with a nice right as Dante rushes in, Dante then SNAPS THE HEAD BACK! HUGE SHOTS! Koura stays up and responds, Dante out working Koura who is trying to respond, big left to the body from Koura, the ref breaks them Dante takes a gulp of air and the marches forward again, Koura complains about a headbutt (they have been regular things)

This isn't pretty, but it is brutal 86-86

 

Momentum clearly seems to be with Dante here

10-Koura with a solid connect early in the round, Dante pressing, he rocked Koura backwards, Koura on his toes, 3 head shots from Dante, and another, Koura not responding, left right from Koura swivels Dante's head, Koura unloading, Dante takes it and fires back, salvo from Dante, Dante backs off before launching another attack, Koura again not doing much, a hard right from Koura and another, Dante escapes the follow ups, a stiff right from Dante, and a left hook, and another right and another, Koura finishes the round with Dante on the ropes but doesn't do much.

Koura needs to do something huge here

11-Dante pressing early, lovely short uppercut from Koura but it just bounces off Dante, Dante pressing a lot and walks into a right hand, another headclash and Koura again complains, a hard right from Koura, a left from Dante, head shots exchanged, a huge right from Dante, a huge right from Koura, and they fall into a clinch, bombs traded up top and Koura backs off, Koura goes to the body but eats 2 up top, a big right from Koura,

Dante doesn't seem dirty just...very clumsy

105-105 (a good 6 or so swing rounds so scores could be all over the place)

 

Last round! I suspect we'll see the title change hands!

12-Koura trying to jab and move but eats a huge right. A headclash, Koura gets taken over to the doctor, fight goes on, messy stuff from Dante but it beats the nothing from Koura, Koura's head snaps back and Dante continues the attack...the referee steps in and Koura has been stopped! TKO12 Dante! MAJOR UPSET!

 

No argument with that really, like I said a fair few swing rounds, where maybe the angle or slight bias in favour of the home guy swung my mind. Would have been 115-113 on my card had the final round not ended it.
