Damn, I wonder if HBO even consults Emanuel when they are prepared to invest into a boxer who they "think" will be a star.

And what are these "exposed frailties" that Steward speaks of????

This is true amir khan is great vs counterpunchers and guys that lack power, but guys with power will always be his kryptonite, that and pressure fighters. I think margarito from the cotto fight beats khan at 147. Berto is also dangerous, a guy like bradley on the other hand isnt but he still needs to be good that night. I really believe khan has the potential despite his obvious flaws to defeat a mayweather on decline in 2012.

PBF would have to really get old. I mean really old.

    And why pressure fighters?

"exposed frailties" = there to be hit.

Maidana was able to bust him up pretty good, imagine what someone with fast, accurate punches would do?

the boxer punchers with speed and power will hurt him the most. He's too square, a really good straight puncher will exploit that a lot, and the guys with good and powerful inside game will split his high guard with uppercuts right to the chin. He'll probably be fine at LWW and WW, but as he moves up and his reach advantage lessens it will stand out more. He's become too Pacquiao-esque lately, I don't know if that's Roach or because of sparring with Pac so frequently but it won't work for him. He's not as hard hitting, and he can't take the hits.

naw,he overtrained and was stupid in wanting to get hit to prove himself, and had pressure to be entertaining in his vegas debut.

how many fights has he seen khan in,im guessing just the last one.

tbh, cant think of many more skilled faster punchers than khan right now!.

And dont no one say bradley is more skilled and faster!.

floyd aint faster, hes sharper with better timing,he is more skilled though.

Floyd is one of those fighters where age is just a number like hopkins, he would beat khan even at 37

Let's not forget, the power Amir Khan came up against was the biggest at 140 and arguably at 147.

That type of power changes you, it demoralises you. Is anyone surprised Amir Khan started having difficulties against a guy who punches like a mule?

Say what you want about how he should have completely outboxed him, but Maidana was cutting the ring off, using the jab and behind that had tremendous power.

Fact is, Khan probably won't face as big of a Puncher than Maidana in the rest of his 140 career. I mean who else, apart from Mattysse, has that type of power?

Just watch how Khan will beat McCloskey and Bradley.

Power changes the way you are and how you think in the ring.

said this for a while now khan could not go in with williams or martinez, and go on some say khan could not do middle weight as some of you have pointed out before because i am telling you he will walk round nearer the middleweight limit than lightwelter

I haven't seen any evidence to back up what you've just said there.

He got shook up in the 2nd and then dominated a shot Mosley for the rest.

And I'm not one of those people who called Mosley shot after the Mayweather fight, by the way.

The Mora fight also supports that.

Mayweather is not the prime fighter that he was. He's not getting better.

Hopkins has actually done well with age instead of really declining.

    :huh
I think after Khan fight's Bradley he should move up in weight....What else will there be to prove at 140? Unless he is feeling charitable and wants help some other guys get paydays fighting him. :huh

  13. No he did not overtrain , if he was overtrained Maidana would have pulvarised him within 3 rounds , he was in the best shape of his life , if a boxer is overtrained they would not be capable of dancing around the ring letting there hands go all night , and on top of that taking an absolute pasting from Maidana only a man in supreme shape could have weathered that !

Floyd GOAT is suggesting that age isn't a factor for Mayweather and would still beat Khan when Mayweather get's older. I disagree.

    And yes, I agree.

  15. I agree hes got a big frame for a light welter he may well walk around at 154/160 , and i agree both Williams and Martinez would be way to much for Khan especially Martinez I would put money on Martinez to KO Khan in 1 if Khan ever moved up
