I'm disappointed that you can't use real fighters in career mode. The Fight Night series let you use real fighters. Damn you, EA.

Pro tip: make a judo fighter, they punch harder than boxers.

I hate using real fighters in Career mode. Taking a 34-year old Fedor through the ranks is just stupid and unrealistic.

I also take all 'Classic' fighters out of Fight Night career mode, it's stupid that you can fight Ali and Lennox in one career.

EA MMA career mode is decent, but like FN quite repetitive. All the different gyms/special moves you can pick up, well that is top class.

anyways i like this game. I like the part where you go from different organizations and can fight until you become a champion.

The part that suck is you can't just simulate the training part. Sometimes i just want to skip the training and fight.

    In ea mma?

    You can simulate the training.

Its the best thing about the career mode it reckon! Wish FNC followed the lead!

Can you build a sumo? Loved the old PS2 UFC games, I built an unbeatable E.Honda clone with a super sumo slap signature move

i meant just skip the whole training like fight night does. I know i can simulate after i trained for something wether it's submission-ground or striking.

I like the training part but sometimes i just want to skip it.

anyways i just finished fighting my 40th fight and i had to retire:-( It was cool though i get to be undisputed champs.

you can build any fighter and it will show what kind of background you want. You can pick sumo. I never used sumo as my specialty. Not sure how effective it will be.
