Magee dropped hatton with a counter like floyd did all night. Its easy to be a monday morning quarterback.

    Yup

The way to get to Hatton and drop him is to catch him coming in with something he doesn't see because he leads with his head and wide punches. Eamonn Magee showed us how - Floyd finished the job.

never saw the fight probably was 6 or 8 rounder that didnt reveal much. A southpaw counter puncher with granite chin will give anyone problems.

yea magee was such a huge talent, pity he got stabbed, then shot then got a beating from the provos(IRA) for those americans!was a bit of an alcoholic too and was an awful trainer, god and he was as good as he was, imagine if he lived clean,he'd be an ATG lol!yea hatton was just caught there if it had happened later maybe it would have had an effect, but hatton showed how good he was by coming back in that fight.Anyone who drops ricky out of the p4p top 10 for gettin beat by floyd needs to get a grip!

Green Gloves his story is something out of a movie. What was his biggest weakness, his workrate? How was his fight with Shea Neary? My favorite Micky Ward gave Neary a brutal whooping in a fight of the year type of fight. Ever a ward fan?

o yea ML,the hatton magee fight was a 12rounder for the WBU lww,was a great fight and should have been a probable SD rather than a UD in favour of Hatton.
the neary fight against magee was controversial as ****,he dominated the first 6 then neary dominated the next 4,but then magee stepped it up another gear, neary was fuming at the decision, dont know why though!
micky was nuts, just felt in fear when he was fighting, typcial irish, didnt care about his limitations and fought with heart and determination!have never seen too much of him cause im still young and mid way american fights aint really shown over here.

Check out Wards fight against Emmanuel Burton on youtube. You probably saw it before but its probably the biggest brawl I ever saw they literally never stopped punching. I was reading on a site that Magee and Ward had competetive spars here in Boston. Both are very hard men.

met Andy lee in a bar in Ny, a real gentleman. Duddy and Lee are positive influences for the sport. Its a shame Le is based in Detroit, if he was based in Boston his popularity would become huge.
