I'll be real surprised if that happens. Earl is past him best but he stops porcelain boy Khan....even if Amir ain't weakened by shaking a few hands and signing a few autographs the night before again.

I think that's clever matchmaking on Warren's part. Khan wins this, and he'll look better than he actually is in doing so.

good defence for khan imo. I dont think the pblic would let him take too much of a ste back from Limond. i also think it is good match making. Earl is experienced, is recognizable to the arm chair fan, and is also very beatable. i can see Khan coming through in this one, and TKO would be impressive but wouldnt be dissapointed with a wide pts victory.

Apparently it is a defo they are both having one fight each before and then getting it on for dec 8th.

im going earl by ko, oh and it is a 12rounder for the commonwealth.

Best defence out there for Khan. Then he is 21 and can fight Thaxton for the British title.

if this is true its a good match-up and a genuine win will quieten down some of the hate. although earl is a harder puncher than limond and a genuine lightweight, i think khan will be able to deal with him better and possibly even get a tko victory...earl is much easier to hit than limond.

but if he does **** around and give earl any opportunity, he may end up knocked out himself. either way, it'll be an exciting fight

The rumours for the oct 6th fight is gomez, looks like he is now stepping up, if these two fight are confirmed then all credit to Amir for putting his money where his mouth is, so to speak.

Both fights are real good matchups.

Earl has already turned down the chance to fight Khan. Khan fought Limond instead. Maybe he has changed his mind but he still has no chance of winning

if the fight with gomez is confirmed then theres no way they can afford to have him fight earl in less then 2 months, he needed 3 months to train for limond its way too risky IMO

he never was that great anyway. He got lucky decisions over Vanzie. He beat the excellent Romanov, but Yuri hadn't fought in a year and it was Maloney's great piece of matchmaking and Earl's heart that won him that one.

I still think Yuri edged it. He gave Earl a late fight hammering and Graham was never the same.
