Earliest boxing champions to have glass chins

    Before guys like Thomas Hearns, Wlad Klitschko, Roy Jones, Terry Norris, etc. who were some of the earliest boxing champions back then that was labeled as having a "glass chin".

    There was no such thing in the bare knuckle era, because you had 30 seconds+ to get up.

    Roy Jones chin matter didn't begin until his mid-30's. I think it was more a matter of him relying on a young man's fight plan after his legs and reflexes got old.

    Waldo also had more a panic/pacing problem. Manny helped him learn to manage that. I wouldn't say he has a stout chin but I wouldn't say he is chinny.

    I think Floyd Patterson had a very suspect chin.
