    One of my 1st boxing memories was Holmes v Spinks 1 and Holmes fuking up equaling Marciano's 49-0 record.

    Think Hagler v Hearns was pretty soon after that as well so what more could you ask for to get you into a sport.

    My earliest boxing memory is going to a local competition called the salmon belt with my grandfather and the next is watching Ali vs Spinks in the rematch on free tv with my grandfather. He liked a good fight and according to my dad he was undefeated himself ( street fights / bar brawls ). Many tested him, he was of mixed race and came under attack from bigots of both nationalities.
