Sometimes I take on these conquests where I like to do write-ups on sporting events, and I think I'd like to partake in trying to write-up/judge all of "The Ring" fights of the year. I was hoping I could save myself a lot of time by asking what year could I start my viewing conquest based on if the film even exists. I usually start things like this up pretty well and then slowly burn out and move onto other things. However, at the very least I'd like to watch all the FOTY. This list has always troubled me because Ring didnt do fight of the year lists until over 20 yrs after it was founded. I have no idea when they actually retroactively added the early fights. I know that outside of new york the ring was **** poor about coverage given that fact and the possible problems with remembering all of the candidates a quarter of a century or more later ive always wondered how reliable the list is for those early days.
