    In what order/tiers would you rate the following latin warriors who gave us so many memorable bouts?

    Erik Morales
    Marco Antonio Barrera
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Diego Corrales
    Jose Luis Castillo
    Joel Casamayor
    Israel Vasquez
    Rafael Marquez

    I assume the 3 amigos lock the top 3 spots for most people but would be interested if you would put any of the other guys in the same tier?

    Are we rating these guys based on their entire careers or based on their work between 00-05? Assuming its the former, I'd say:

    1.) JM Marqeuz
    2.) Morales
    3.) Barrera
    4.) Rafa Marquz
    5.) Castillo
    6.) Corrales
    7.) Casamayor

    Interestly, I think if you vote just based on what the fighters accomplished by 2005, Corrales would probably be in my top 3 with Morales and Marquez. He had an incredible career before he burned out:

    * Garcia (unbeaten champ)
    * Gary St. Clair (unbeaten highly regarded prospect)
    * Angel Manfredy
    * Casamayor
    * Freitas (unbeaten to division champ)
    * Castillo
    * John Brown (still hot from wins over Peden and Gab Ruelas)
    * Damian Fuller
    * Derrick Gainer (future champ)
    * Emperor ******iane Juuko

    When you consider that he lost about two years of his career in the middle of that period its really interesting to consider what he could have done if he'd found the time to lock horns with guys like Carlos Hernandez, Jesus Chavez, Kevin Kelley, Julio Diaz, Leavander Johnson (RIP), Jorge Barrios, Cesar Bazan, Juan Lazcano etc.
