He was 6'3 and 200 lbs, it's big enough to stop any size.

    Leotis martin was 6'0 1/2 not 6'3.
.No guy of this size caused any problem to Tyson. Orlin norris was a natural cruiser like martin(Norris was wider) and he could not do **** against 1999 Tyson.
Any Tyson destroys Leotis Martin, even against a shot Tyson you need being a big strong guy

    My bad, sorry for mistake.
James Tillis lasted the distance with Tyson and he fought against prime one, not washed up old Mike.
    Orlin Norris was 5'9.
Any version of Liston destroys Kevin McBride, I can play the same game.

 Tyson won a one sided fight and this one was a green Tyson not a prime one, tillis was a hw bigger and better than leotis martin

And Tua was 5'10 so what? Norris was a natural cruiser like i said but wider more robust than Martin.

Neither one of these men were sluggers.

Liston, was a standard boxer/puncher who could be content to stay outside and look to establish his jab and take opportunities that came.

Tyson was something like Frazier and Louis combined. He came forward, but not in a rush. He ducked and slipped but only when a punch was anticipated, and he jabbed and countered which with his speed and power made him devastating.

I don’t see a slug match most because Tyson can not afford to start one with Sonny. Tyson would have to look for quick combinations inside and keep giving angles.

If he were to force Sonny in an sustained exchange I don’t see Tyson finishing the bout because Sonny can KO any fighter and with his boxing versatility Sonny can hurt Mike from the outside or inside

Tyson would destroy Liston. Far too fast and technically good.

Martin would destroy the Tyson who lost to McBride and Williams. It wouldn't even be particularly close.

Joe Louis, Jack Dempsey, among others were of similar size or smaller. Do you also not think they would be able to beat this version of Tyson?

Tyson wasn't more technically sound than Liston. They were different and both tremendously skilled

Destroy? I doubt that he would even win the fight? At least the williams version. He was too small added to the fact that he was mediocre

The three big problems for Mike against prime Liston are the jab, which was amazingly long and powerful, the right uppercut., and Liston's superior patience. Liston tended to be more accepting of a fight going the distance if he couldn't keep someone down...I could be wrong, but it seemed to me he was better at pacing himself.

Mike and Sonny seemed to handle the prospect of going the distance differently.

Lightfoot would scare the hell out of Liston on his best day.
