   They certainly were good, well schooled fighters. My point was just that I think it was more a case of teaching it well, and not innovation, because it was basically a style from bareknuckle.

   The Australian style was very similar to the British style (for obvious reasons).
   
   Great when performed correctly, but always very vulnerable to a skilled swarmer (which seemed to be a 'prototype' back in the day).
