They call him the next Andrew Golota. Mazurek ( 4-0 4 KO's ), age 21 was something like 44-6 as an amateur, but too young to make a serious run at the nationals and Olympics at the time. I saw his workout clip. He's actually got faster hands and more power than Golota. Decent head movement too and he keeps his chin tucked. You'll be impressed by his accuracy in the on the smaller bag. Mazurek has not fought a journeyman level .500 type of opponent yet, but when you look at very young prospects the first thing you look at is ability and commitment. He seems to have both. How could you try to claim he has more power than AG ? You had to of at least held the mitts for both, if not you're opinion of the power difference is flat out ignorant
Have you seen Golota hit the bag? I have. Your error was to assume I have not. Golota took Bronze in the Olympics and actually started boxing as a pro around 205 pounds. Mazurek is way past that size already. This kid has better speed and jolts the bag more. Do you need to hold the mitts or a bag to judge who had more power between Tyson and Holyfield? NO! Golota was not a true power hitter by the way at least with his fists. The guy had a mean head but, bite, and low blow, though.

He is definitely closer to 6"4 maybe even 6"5. And definitely at least 240lb. Still undefeated. Very promising prospect!
