I've run across an early pre-UFC, pre-Pancrase match between Ken Shamrock and Masa Funaki on Youtube. This was conducted under the early shoot fighting rules that Pancrase later used to great effect. its worked but ken says in his book they used to give eachother a hard time before the winner got put over..
You mean, is it acting? Yes it is. Acting fans use terms like work to cover the fact that "pro wrestling" is just a few actors putting on a show, no different than a jackie chan movie in practice.
