Quite often you see boxers go down in the 1st or 2nd round of a fight, off weak looking punches and they are seemingly unhurt.

Is this a flash KD? Or being caught cold chinned?

If so, how do you warm up, or prepare your chin so this doesnt happen?

Does this also happen to people with great chins?

Cheers for the clarity in advance.

It could be not being warmed up, or just early round jitters. Then , there was the case of Pavlicks knockdown against Taylor. He was reminded not to fart around with world class professional fighters with hands down and chin out.Could be a lot of early knockdown sufferers just needed a little more respect for the guy in front of them.

Also, a lot of fighters go down early and aren't hurt simply because they don't have the best balance in the world. Tito Trinidad comes to mind

Yep, balance is sometimes the key. Who can forget Danny Lopez. The guy used to get knocked down repeatedly, and then end wininng by a vicious KO!
