If 1.75 million are buying that pile of **** mismatch then we will never see a Pac vs Money fight. Disappointing. :-(

    actually he's giving a hypothetical.

he's not saying that it's around 1.75 Million

he's saying that in a scenario where the early sales would be 20% ahead of Mosley's, he could project 1.75Milliion

but not that this is actually what's giong on.

    --------------

not that it matters what he said. People jsut wanna talk **** anyways.

Title is misleading. The article says 98% of PPV buys are on the day of so there's no way you can tell.

And Schaefer was saying hypothetically if the trend is this or that.

I think it can do close to 2 mil buys! you guys need to remeber that Mexican indepedence day is friday and so you will get extra 200-400k buys just on that. Let alone you put Canelo (whoeverybody knows) and Morales on the card you damn right you can do 1.5-2 mil buys

He's inflating these numbers too.. 1.7 or 1.8 is not realistic. You are with 1 to 1.3 million. Floyd's a big name but he's not generating 1.8 million with ortiz as his dance partner....especially if he couldn't do it with Shane who was a much bigger name than Ortiz. Not to mention that promotion was more aggressive.

I don't think it will do that many but 1.4 - 1.6 mil would be great. I wouldn't be surprised if it beats the pbf v mosley fights as mosley can't draw a dime.

    not true.

    Floyd/Hatton = 900,000+ buys

    Floyd/JMM = 1.05 M buys

    Floyd/Shane = 1.4 M buys :deal

    1.7+m Very doubtful.

    1.5m Possible.

    1.3m Good and achievable numbers.

    1.1m Disappointing.

    <1m Fail.

    --------------------

Personally I think it will do somewhere between 1.3m and 1.5m.

I think this will do slightly above the Marquez numbers. Which is still excellent. People need to temper their expectations.
