Marcel. He's more adaptable IMO. Quicker too.

    Great fight for sure.

I'd take Marcel to beat Sanchez too.

Marcel/Sanchez would be even tighter to me...if Arguello reaches Marcel, Sanchez could too...He wouldn't have the crack Arguello did at the weight, but his delivery is quicker and compact. But with that said, Marcel's style would give Sanchez fits...this is coming from a Sanchez apologist. :good

Marcel has not got anything to keep Azumah away..or indeed remotely respectful, when that happens Azumah goes Hunting... Track -to- Whack Walking down the opporsition, he went into that mode Against Jim McDonnald and Pernell Whitaker.. Down at His prime weight of Feather his pursuit will be much quicker... Marcel may hear some boo's for his fleet footed evasiveness.. maybe even the Ref's finger wagging for more Action... it would depend on Azumah and his Desire for the stoppage if he maintained the Hunt, he might feel he is so far in front he would coast in a leisurely chase to the finishing Line, The Lion might not get the Gazelle but i think he would chase him out of the reserve..

Arguello went on the front foot...as you say, Marcel would've forced Sanchez to lead where he wasn't comfortable.

Nelson would have his best chance bulldozing forward as he did in the Sanchez fight.

Marcel was very active. Even against Duran, he only slowed down in the last few rounds, and wasn't quite in his prime at that stage.

Are you forgetting Nelson's numerous horrible performances?

Marcel was a good right hand puncher, not a big puncher, but not a featherfisted fighter at all.He hit about as hard as Sanchez imo. Those lead rights were dangerous.

I'd certainly say he had more than enough power to get Nelson's respect.Certainly if Nelson just barrels forward and leaves himself open as he was sometimes guilty of, he might find himself rocked and eventually unhinged by some precision lead rights and counters in the same way he was against Sanchez.

We would probably see the more methodical defensively responsible pressure we saw against a faded Gomez for at least the first half of the fight....then more of the McDonnell\Pea type approach if he feels he has fallen behind, or hurts Marcel.
