Unlike many heavyweights, he absolutely maintained his weight, but you can see the loss of muscle tone. Not a tragic ending though in the sense of being a protracted beating. I've often posted that he had a badly underrated chin. And in the last match where he was floored prior to this, he actually got up to stop Jeff Sims in the Berbick-Ali undercard. But yeah, although he was winning up to that point, the power wasn't there anymore, and now the chin really was gone.
