This may have been done before. I see this fight as a shootout and a who hit who 1st fight.

I think Earnie may have hit harder with the right hand but Bob had the better 2-fisted power and much more ring generalship.

    Thoughts?

    Interesting.

Shavers was bigger (about 30 Lbs., but 2" shorter), stronger, and punched harder. Neither had the best chin ever but I think Shavers could handle Satterfield's shots more than Satterfield could handle his. Satterfield was the better overall boxer but I don't think that would matter.

    Shavers KO inside of 5.

With punchers like these it could go either way, but I'd go with Shavers power and early assault taking out the smaller Satterfield

I'd say that the one who keeps their composure takes the win. It could be either of them. Shavers in Ali fight form, Satterfield in Harold Johnson I/Valdes form, it's a tough pick.

This is really a toss a coin who gets to who first. Because he was quicker and did so well against big men, I would pick Satterfield, though without confidence.

Satterfield could not make any mistakes to win.

But he would make one....and its lights out then.
