David my toe hurts Haye, would have run around the ring like a chicken until Shavers lands a bomb and puts him nite nite in the middle rounds.

Haye was scared of Klitchko, he would have been terrified of Shavers:lol:

Haye is the most over rated heavyweight in the past 10 years...

Haye should be able to out box Shavers and maybe even take him out eventually with a haymaker but of course Shavers against anyone has a good punchers chance to end the fight at anytime.

Hard to pick a winner but if shavers lands one good shot haye is going to sleep

Shavers by KO after being stunned himself

That's the problem. Haye is likely the quicker and more skilled of the two, but I don't see his chin holding out. Of course he had enough power to KO Shavers as well, who didn't exactly have the best set of whiskers either.

If Earnie Shavers was a whisker away from beating Holmes I think he can handle Haye.

Haye is smart enough to not get in the ring with Shavers.

I saw Earnie fight a few times live and many on TV, He was about 6' 210 lbs but he had a powerful right hand and a left to go with it, Haye was faster and had the better movement of the 2...If Earnie Nails Haye its donions for Dave, chances are Dave gets nailed

Haye is More Skilled and Faster.....I think he Lands the Bomb on Shavers before Shavers Finds him....

Haye is faster, a better boxer, would move on Shavers and blast him out.

but Shavers' right could erase it all

but I'll still take Haye by an early/mid round KO.

Haye has sizeable advantages in both speed and skill, and both have iffy chins. Logic tells me Haye's superior speed and skill prevail. Shavers was no giant Klitchko.
