Hey Mr. Genius... As if losingto a TRUE ATG in Holmes somehow makes Shavers less than ?? You really know your boxing :) BTW kind of laughable to think what a prime Easton Assassin would have done to a phony like Haye !!

    Hey **** for brains!!

A few years back there was a guy called Eddie The Eagle, who somehow managed to qualify for the winter olympic ski jump. He came embarrassingly last, so much so that children could possibly have out jumped him.

That is what Shavers looked like the first time he fought Holmes. So shove your opinions where the sun doesn't shine, and get in the real world.

I don't believe for one moment that Haye could ever beat Holmes, but I'd bet good money he could steal at least 3 rounds off him. Shavers DIDN'T.

Is everyone here on crack? lmao

Look. Shavers only claim to fame was that he was heavy handed. The tapes show he had **** poor stamina..and we all know about his chin.

Once you get him past the first 4 rounds he's a walk in the park.

    Haye takes it away

I agree !! EVERYONE is always saying how underrated Haye is amongst ATG heavies. Look Is anyone saying Shavers is an ATG ?? No ! But, Haye has done zip and he doesn`t even belong in the ring with the true great heavies. Where as Shavers had some success against some great heavyweights. Ali almost stopping Holmes and blitzing Norton. I must admit I love the `**** for brains` comment ~ We can ALWAYS count on you for your lack of class and brilliant boxing knowledge ;) Keep it coming, great entertainment !!

Unless Shavers taps that IRON chin of Haye first ! First Shavers has to get past Haye`s fierce fighting heart :)

Haye has natural talent, speed, power, explosiveness and he's a decent boxer/mover but he isn't that skilled and is actually technically quite ****. Garbage footwork going forward, clumsy combinations, especially those hooks and he's sloppy finisher when he has someone hurt. He goes into spastic mode.
Haye's best weapon is the straight right which is accurate and delivered with mean intent. Shavers has better technique so I Pick him to spark Haye inside 6.

Good call ! Shavers one dimensional ? Yep ! But he had crazy power in that right fist. And I keep going back to what has Haye ever done at heavy ? Valuev, old washed up Ruiz ? And then foxy trots out Chisora ???? Be careful with foxy he brings on some pretty classy insults too ;)

Try to at least to be original. I think I've informed you both you are nothing more than I would scrape off my shoe after walking through a farmyard.

I don't CARE what the likes of you consider to be insults. If you are a MORON you will be TOLD you are a moron, and for sure you 2 are morons.

You are trying to big up Shavers because he " almost " beat Ali and Holmes. Whoopee fvcking doooo.

By 36 Ali had forgotten what mobility was, and Holmes never had much of it to begin with. Funnily enough, both of these immobile targets beat the fool.

What qualifies your imbecility is you think Haye was as slow afoot as these two were at the time Shavers fought them.

You got one lucky family with your amazing choice of words... Class act !! Not to mention that Holmes lacked mobility and Haye had it ??? You are truly a genius for the ages... Get back to your room little man !! Oh yes, you definitely are an original, whew !!

Haye beats all of these guys except Ali and Holmes (possibly Lyle and Quarry, but I doubt it). Haye was very elusive in fighting Wlad. It was difficult for Wlad to hit Haye (and Wlad is typically regarded as an accurate puncher). I think he could dodge some of Shavers' bombs and explode on him and get him out of there or outbox him from a range ala Valuev.

    Shavers' Losses
    Stan Johnson
    Ron Stander
    Jerry Quarry
    Bob Stallings
    Ron Lyle
    Ali
    Holmes (2x)
    Bernardo Mercado
    Randall Cobb
    James Tillis
    Walter Santemore
    George Chaplin

Of course it was difficult for Vald to land as Haye wasn,t trying to win... Against some of the past top tier heavies, that weak **** isn,t going to get Haye victories...Potential and fighting up to it are two very different things... That,s Haye in a nutshell !

Seriously are you Wayne Grade under an Alt? Are you really going to claim that the 36 year old Ali was in any way, shape, or form slight of foot?

Did you EVER have Holmes in the Ali league with regards to footwork in the first place?
