Congratulations You have one the "Tool of the Week" award for this week....and you did with no effort at all....
The 190/200 pounder with the wait and counter punch style who cut easy? No ,Shavers would have much better chance bc of power and aggressive style, Shavers is chinny ...Quarry would have have maybe last longer but he wouldn't get near Wilder . Quarry also lacked faith in himself alot where Wilder is never in doubt he will win .
wilder is a monster alright. had he played micheal myers, he would have ducked jamie lee curtis the whole movie.
close enough. if he had played godzilla, he would have fought the two tiny twin japanese women, instead of mothra. better?
Shavers used to punch guys so hard they felt like they were getting sharp elbows to the face. There's a bit of a height discrepancy in this matchup so if WIlder was able to keep Shavers at bay with his jab, than he could make the fight interesting. While I think Shavers is probably one of the 5 hardest punchers in the history of the sport P4P, Wilder does have a lot of power himself in that right hand and could potentially do a lot of damage with it. I'd still favor Shavers by 7th or 8th round KO- I don't think Wilder has the stamina to keep up in the later rounds and eventually Shavers would tag him with something that would make him topple over.
Godzilla was trying to save the city ,his main objective was defeating rivals that surfaced not humans . He still would have had to fight Mothra who would have not went away.
Shavers only has one k.o win after round 7 ,and the opponent had half losses of a 14 and 7 record . Wilder has more quality opposition he defeated , Shavers has Norton but beyond him his resume with his defeats on it suggests Wilder would k.o Shavers
Tex said one day " Did you know I was knocked out by a 118 pound Mexican fighter" " Two of my buddies were swinging him round by his ankles " lol
