I imagine if the Bob Stallings-Shavers fight never happened, people here would scoff at Stallings of all people going the distance, let alone winning.

 

I gingerly picked Ingo but I am not the least bit comfortable with it and I would not bet one copper penny on this fight.

 

Not even a zinc, copper coated penny?

 

Funny thing is, those zinc '43 pennies aren't even a fraction as valuable as the regular pennies from that year.

 

Really? I think it's the other way around. Shavers needs to end it early or his endurance issues come into play imo.

 

These two could honest to God do a Creed-Balboa fight from the original Rocky ending…except they’d be busted to hell, bleeding, bruised & completely winded after four rounds instead of fifteen.

Ingo actually has excellent endurance.

Shavers never killed anybody. In his big fights...he lost....so much for the legend of his "power'. The legend of his "power" comes from a lucky punch KO over former WBA Heavyweight champ Jimmy Ellis in 1973.

 

He almost killed Holmes and Lyle tho...Ingo if attack first like Quarry could KO him but that depends.

 

Whoever lands something big first.
