Earnie Shavers vs Wladimir Klitschko

Wlad would knock him out.

Interestingly enough, despite Shaver's legendary punching power, he really wasn't a great finisher at the higher levels. The only contender/champion level fighters that either didn't go the distance with him or beat him were an old Norton and Bugner. Guys were still able to get up from being knocked down and beat Shavers, so even if he catches Wlad, there's no guarantee he puts him away.

 

Same for Klitscko, he lands once on Shavers and Ernie is gone. Everything else is in Klitscko's favor, so I got to go with him

i'm gonna go for wlad here..shavers had a massive punch, but little boxing ability. wlad would just keep him on the end of his jab all night and box to a UD or late stoppage.if shavers landed on that chin though, it would be good night irene.
