Bump. Shavers cleans his clock, Folley with that chin in the air, upright, Shavers jabs the body to get low and to get Folley’s chin even more up in the air, then after a while, throws the devastating right after a feint jab to the body.
Same old story, Shavers could blow Zora out quickly (likely?) or Folley could survive the early onslaught (unlikely?) and go on to decision or stop Earnie in the later rounds. To survive Shavers early, fair to say you’ve got to at least have reasonable whiskers because Earnie will land one or two power shots at least. A still somewhat green Jimmy Young might’ve been calculated to have been cleaned up again in his rematch with Earnie - but it wasn’t so. Though of course, Folley wasn’t as adept at defence nor as heavily accented on defence as Young was.
I don't see that Shavers has more than a puncher's chance. He's too slow and and he runs out of gas. I think it's Folley all the way. He's just a much more accomplished boxer.
