hi i have seen for example russian(soviet school) fighters and mexican fighters and it's funny how the two schools are so different, almost everything they do is not the same... even the basics.

i have trained with a latin american coach and an east european coach,
and the funny thing is that when i talked to each of them about the other style they would....

east european would say: ahh the mexicans, aren't good at many things, just want to stay inside, we like to box more techinally lol

spainish guy says" ahh the russians they are boring, only do a few things and just paw with jabs, they can't stand pressure or being inside.

so much was different, the footwork, the way you punch. etc etc

what style do think is more effective?

like if you put two good fighters will would usually win....
    who hits harder?

like prime kostya vs prime chavez???

    what do you perfer???

i would say that i perfer to watch the mexican guys fight...more fun for sure...

but when i spar, the russian style is much safter and less risk

They both have different styles of fighting. It is the Europeans choice if they want to play it safe. Mexican fighters love to fight and it is fun to watch. I dont think they need make fun of each others styles to prove a point that their styles is better. They are both are effective in different ways depending on who you are fighting. Prime vs. Prime Chavez will smoke Kostya.

East-European boxers use their smarts, technical ability and inteligence to beat their opponent.

Mexicans just come in with their warrior heart and hope their opponent falls first.

Its not nice to sterotype Mexican boxers. Mijares, Juan Manuel Marquez, Rafael Marquez, Ricardo Lopez, and Barrera at the end of his career were all great boxers.

Each style seems to suit the respective group.

You have to be Mexican to fight Mexican style anyway. I coudn't get away with that ****, LOL.

    the point was the sterotype,

ofcourse some mexican boxers are great boxers and move nicely etc
    mexican legend gave good example

and some east european will brawl inside, like dariusz M, alexander povetkin etc etc

but the point was how different the sterotyical styles are...

and i disagree that mexicans just rely on heart, i see very good moves from them espically inside/body work, they are experts here

i think its all up to you.. you choose the style that you enjoy and fits u best.

i would pick technical boxing (spacificly sssr-soviet union) school any time tbh.. thats my taste.

i would tend agree with you a bit there...

lower risk, higher reward is usually the better way to go...
