Ive just been reading an article about the winning purse bid for the Collazo v Clottey bout being $35k. Somebody mentioned about the possibility of some ESB'ers pooling money together and winning the purse to future fights. So excuse my ignorrance on this but .... Do people think this is viable ?? Do you need some sort of promoters license and is this hard to obtain ?? Once you have won the purse is there still a huge outlay to host the fight ?? If you won the purse for an IBF eliminator like the Collazo/Clottey bout is, is there the potential to make a lot of money on it, if any ?? Discuss ....
