He is a truly a great fighter because he beat a guy whose best win was when he was losing vs Nicky Cook but got a KO, this means he is the second coming of SRR, Ali and SNV rolled into one.

The WBA I believe calls Gamboa 'Unified Champion', and Chris John 'Champion in Recess'.

I mean, he's a good fighter and everything, and it was a good win, but not as good as British people make out.

 

Nobody is calling Burns great, but it was a great performance. One which makes me proud to be a boxing fan.

Gamboa-The more these 'champions' fight each other the better I think.

 

I'd say Gamboa's was a better acheivment, won a world title against Salido, he's better than Martinez.

Escalante-Roman was better IMO.

 

Martinez's only good win was a KO against Cook, who he was losing to. Salido has a good win over Cristobal Cruz and gave JMM a tough fight.
