those wins were a long time ago now. Since Povetkins win over Chambers he hasnt faced anyone in the top 25. Haye has beaten Barret who was top 25, Ruiz who was top 10 and Valuev who was top 5.

Can you objectivley explain why you would rank Chagaev and Chambers ahead of Haye??

Essentially, if neither of these guys had lost to Wlad, they would be rated above Haye based on their victories/resumes.

So Haye gets rated higher because he hasn't fought Wlad, who is the 1# rated fighter. This doesn't seem quite right. I assume that if Haye fought Wlad and lost, you wouldn't have any problem rating him lower than Chagaev or Chambers?

As for Povetkin, he simply has more and better wins at heavy, even if most of them were 2007/08. He's still the 1# contender in the WBO and IBF.

Granted, #3-8 on these rankings are very close, and the fact that Haye has recent wins works in Haye's favor. If Haye scores a win against a Top 10 fighter by the end of the year I'd have no problem ranking him #3.

Fightnews is pretty much right on, although spots 7-10 are questionable and maybe Chambers should be in there...

Fair enough. :thumbsup Adamek has beaten a better, more prime Heavyweight than David Haye.

Hard to see how Valuev is still ranked higher than Haye since Haye did win their fight, even if it was close.

    I think Valuev+Ruiz+Barret beats Arreola+Estrada+Golota.

Also Hayes resume at the lower weights is better.
