Watch the fight without sound either so that Jim Lampleys nut hugging doesn't get into your ears. And you'd see that Cotto landed his sledge hammer jab the whole ****ing entire fight and punched through out the 3 minutes of everyround. Mosley didn't throw any jabs because he was turtling up and clinching the entire freaking fight he should have gotten a warning at the very least for that ****.

Does landing 2-3 decent punches a round win you a round when you get battered by ridiculously solid shots from a man like Cotto? Everytime Mosley landed 1 of those hard punches Cotto was right back there firing back. Who looked like the 1 dimensional fighter tonight? Cus it sure wasn't Cotto, once Mosley wanted to bounce around on his feet switching to plan B (to box) Cotto answered that right back and did the backstepping of his own. Seriously pay no attention to the HBO Crew, this fight was not hard to score at all. There were about 3 rounds where mosley did absolutely NOTHING, and basically clinched his way out of Cotto's firepower.

P.S. Harold Lederman is on drugs and needs to retire, His Scorecard was so incredibly off it was hilarious.

    Diabolical post.

Compubox shows that Mosely landed more powerpunches than Cotto. I cldnt care how hard Cotto's jab is, its not a power punch.

Mosely won by 2 rounds at least, landed the better. Cotto practically took a knee in the 9th, and the ref saved his ass.

You say that 3 rounds Mosely did nothing, Cotto ran like a ***** for the last 4 rounds.

    Bigger robbery than Tito/Oscar.

I had it 115-113 Cotto. He was landing the jab with greater frequency and landing the harder, more authoritative blows.

I don't think Cotto won THAT heavily, but he still won the fight. People who are saying this was a robbery are out of their mind.

He ran in the 12th because the fight was such a blow out he didn't even need to fight. You say he ran for the 9 10 11 12? So hes Oscar now? Oh please you're irrational and clearly nut hugging a fighter who he himself accepted his defeat with class and dignity.

And who was running in the middle rounds??Was it not Mosley who resorted to plan B when he realized he couldn't keep up the pace going head to head with Cotto?????????????? So once Mosley started hopping around on his feet Cotto switched and did the same, its called fighting intelligently and you sound like you know absolutely NOTHING about boxing.

Excellent post, only someone who sleeps with Cotto on a regular basis would have it 9-3 to Cotto.

9-3 to mosely would have been acceptable.

    clear decision.

What happened to Cotto's sketchy chin?
What happened to Cotto the robot?
What happened to the 1 dimensional Cotto?
What happened with Shane who is supposed to be the better "boxer" but only landed 16% of his jabs.

Why don't you guys ask shane if he thinks he won? He didn't even sound like he wanted a rematch rofl. Mosley got outworked period.

How does a guy who lands the exact same number of punches and throws 100 more get "outworked"??

Watch the fight with no sound and come back here and then say if you think the fight was close, be real people there is no way Mosley deserved a decision. All the rounds were sure as hell competitive but the cleaner effective more consistent punching was clearly Cotto. I don't give fighters rounds when they only landed a few hard shots when they are getting popped with a jab for 3 minutes of every round as well as all of the rest of Cotto's offense. If Mosley didn't clinch as much as he did he would have gotten hit so much more.

I didn't buy the PPV because I had to work. I hope HBO puts the fight in the "On Demand" section. I am really surprised that Miguel won a decision. I assumed that if it went the distance Shane would win with superior boxing. I would not have bet on it, but I kind of expected Cotto to knock Mosely out while behind on points. All in all I did not have a favorite. Cotto would not beat SSM in his prime, but 36 ain't prime, and only Father Time and Kelly Pavlik are more relentless than than Miguel Cotto.
