I think Mayweather would struggle vs a inside fighter Hatton could have beat Floyd if he had any kind of head movement and if he work the body inside and if he had a better chin lol. im talking bob-weave Work the jab to get inside try to get him against the ropes attacking the body and head try to keep in that shell. Even if the jab is not landing alot just use it as a shield. Also on the jab step through the jab to avoid the pull counter. Stay in Floyds chest move your head. It will be hard for him to counter if your inside on him. You need some kind of power and you cant be to slow These type of fighters. http://youtu.be/nTubzHeYlNA http://youtu.be/0vUuXvAHlLQ http://youtu.be/h2d-etN4Wbc Pryor was a brawler but yeah lol http://youtu.be/Uhcfm-lkKEg
Floyd is an all around great boxer. Yes. Part of being a "boxer" is versatility and being able to fight on the inside and out. You are confused, and overlooking the fact that Hopkins, Toney and Floyd are perfect examples of how boxing on the inside has an entire arsenal and set of skills as does boxing from the outside. This is how Floyd was able to dominate Hatton on the inside, as well as the outside. :deal
Castillo exposed some minor weaknesses (Floyd was also injured), minor weaknesses which Floyd worked on and corrected....as evidenced in the rematch :good
i'm a big fan of floyd...make no mistake about it. but this notion that he is unbeatable is ridiculous. every fighter is beatable. what floyd is the best at is selecting opposition that he can beat. it was the same for roy...same for bernard....same for any top fighter in any division.
Mayweather didnt lose the god damn fight! 7-5 it was. And Floyd won five of the first six. :deal Yeah, Castillo had the methods alright. That's why Floyd ducked a rematch after beating him the first time. atsch
